MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a quality recreational experience for each and every
person involved with our Recreation Department.
OUR MISSION
We are honored that you are visiting our web site. Being a recreation
organization, we are always striving to find new ways to get our message out to current and prospective members. This web
site allows us to reach people we may never have been able to contact before.

Developing and promoting youth activities is an important part of our department. During
the course of the year numerous activities are enjoyed by the youth of Lee County and surrounding counties.
We try our best as the Recreation Department to make the community aware of each activity in time to participate.
The department furnishes flyers to each of the schools for the upcoming
activities that are played during the school year. We also publish the flyer in the Albany Herald and Lee County Ledger. We place signs
all over Lee County and Leesburg. If you are uncertain about any registration dates and times you may contact 229-759-6047,
there will be a message on the machine about registration.
Each one of our activities is designed to improve the skills and habits
of our youth. We make certain that the leader of each activity is capable of taking on such responsibility. We
begin by giving Coaches a proper application to fill out and a background check. We also have Coaches Certification
Programs and Manuals that each Head coach must go through, provided to us by the NYSCA, National Youth Sports Coaches Association.
